19 Week Pregnancy Update

19 Weeks! I am almost halfway through my pregnancy! If this baby is anything like Bunny and decides to come “early” then I AM halfway through my pregnancy. That is crazy to think about! I am starting to pick up all the birthing and after birth items the midwife has suggested I have. I feel like I need to get everything right now, even though I have a few months left. We find out the gender in about a week and a half. I am so excited to know what this baby is! I still feel like he is a he, but I will be equally excited if he is a she! I am a little bit apprehensive about this baby being a girl because I don’t have the best relationship with my sisters. I don’t have any brothers so I can only imagine that when you have a brother everything is perfect with sunshine and rainbows. Right!?! I am super excited for Bunny to be a big sister. She asks almost daily to hear the baby’s heartbeat. She has started kissing my belly. She is so precious. I really hope she loves her sibling and has a wonderful relationship with him or her throughout their lives. I want nothing more than for them to be best friends.

I am feeling really good! My pelvis hasn’t been hurting too much. I am eating more, but still not as hungry as I was with Bunny. I think I have finally gained a pound! Yay!!! I love my big round belly. I seriously love being pregnant. I love feeling the baby moving and can’t wait for My Love to feel it too! I know the rest of my pregnancy is the fun part. The first half is fun, but dealing with nausea is not so fun. I know I am super SUPER lucky that I don’t have horrible morning sickness and other ailments that some women experience. I know the second half of my pregnancy is filled with kicks from the little one and anticipation of his or her arrival! I do wonder if this baby will stay in longer than Bunny did. Bunny was born at 37 weeks. I will post her birth story soon 🙂 I am so excited to see what the future holds for us. I am loving this pregnancy and am so incredibly excited to see our little bean in a week and a half!
