Leaf Skin Therapy Lotion Review

Everyone has dry skin. In the winter or the summer months, dry skin is around. I tend to have dry skin all year round. My skin LOVES to soak up lotion. I have never found a lotion that moisturizes my skin long term without leaving it feeling like there is something sitting on top of my skin. I was excited to try Leaf Skin Therapy Lotion but was not expecting the results I received.

Leaf Skin Therapy Lotion comes in a small bottle, 2 ounces. That does not seem like a lot of lotion, but it is. Leaf Skin Therapy Lotion is a little different because it is suggested to use while your skin is still damp from bathing. You can use Leaf Skin Therapy Lotion without being damp, but it is highly recommend to apply lotion immediately after bathing. The Mayo Clinic suggestion is to pat or blot your skin until it’s just barely dry, then apply moisturizer immediately to help trap water in the surface cells. To apply Leaf Skin Therapy Lotion to damp skin all you need is a small dollop (I love that word) to cover your entire body. I like to use a small dollop for my legs and arms. A little does go a long way. You can also use Leaf Skin Therapy Lotion on dry skin but you will need a bit more lotion.

Leaf Skin Therapy Lotion is super hydrating. It is said to help heal dry skin conditions like eczema, psoriasis and ichthyosis. I do not have any of these conditions so I can not say if these improve when using Leaf Skin Therapy Lotion. I do, however, have those not so fun bumps on the back of my arms. Or, I did. Before I started using Leaf Skin Therapy Lotion I had bumps up and down the back of my arms. I have tried scrubs, wet and dry, to try to get rid of these. I have tried lotions and oils. They did not want to budge. I was not expecting Leaf Skin Therapy Lotion to treat these bumps but it did! I am thrilled to say I do not have as many bumps on the back of my arms! I still have a few, but they are few and far between. I have to search for them. Before using Leaf Skin Therapy Lotion the entire back part of my arms were covered in bumps. This is a HUGE improvement! I have only been using Leaf Skin Therapy Lotion for a little over two weeks. I am excited to see if long term use will make the bumps disappear completely!

Leaf Skin Therapy Lotion’s main ingredient is Urea which moisturizes and decreases discomfort as well as reduces inflammation. Leaf Skin Therapy Lotion also contains goldenseal extract which is an antimicrobial and an anti inflammatory. Leaf Skin Therapy Lotion has a Skin Deep Rating of 1! (That means it really does not have icky ingredients hidden inside!) Leaf Skin Therapy Lotion was formulated to treat eczema. Because of this, Leaf Skin Therapy Lotion is gentle yet effective. Leaf Skin Therapy Lotion is unscented, hypoallergenic and non irritating. I love that Leaf Skin Therapy Lotion has no scent. I can put it on with without experiencing an irritating scent that makes me run to the bathroom to wash off my lotion. What a waste of money and water! I love that I can apply Leaf Skin Therapy Lotion to my hands multiple times a day and not smell a thing! Leaf Skin Therapy Lotion is perfect for those who are sensitive to scented lotions. Leaf Skin Therapy Lotion is also perfect for babies and toddlers since it is so gentle and nourishing. It is nice to have one bottle of lotion for the whole family.

You can buy Leaf Skin Therapy Lotion online for $21. Remember, a little goes a long way. This bottle will last you a long time! Follow Leaf Skin Therapy Lotion on Facebook to stay up to date on promotions and new products!
