Birds & Bees Organic Herbal Tea Review

IMG_2125I love herbal tea. Absolutely LOVE herbal tea. I have so many different types of tea, it drives My Love crazy. I was so excited to be able to sample some Birds & Bees organic herbal teas. Birds & Bees teas are designed for use during pregnancy, postpartum, breastfeeding and beyond. I was sent a few samples of Birds & Bees teas Our Lady of La Leche, Ripe and Ready, Easy Naps & Calm Nights, Peaceful Pregnancy, and Family Immunity. I must say, the three I have tried are DELICIOUS.

beautiful!

Birds & Bees teas are organic herbal teas. They are in loose leaf form meaning they do not come prepackaged in individual bags. I prefer my tea this way. I can make my tea as strong or as light as I would like it to be, plus it looks pretty. 🙂

Birds & Bees Peaceful Pregnancy Tea– Ingredients:Raspberry Leaf, Nettle Leaf, Alfalfa Leaf, Rosehips, Rose Petals, Hawthorne Berry, Orange Peel.

Raspberry leaf is an excellent tea to drink while pregnant. It helps tone your uterus for labor and delivery. My midwife highly suggests drinking one cup of red raspberry leaf tea a day until 38 weeks, then you can drink as much as you would like. Red raspberry leaf tea is pretty good, but Birds & Bees Peaceful Pregnancy tea is DELICIOUS! I do not need to add any kind of sweetener to this tea, which tells me it is made from quality ingredients and has been taste tested extensively. I am in love with this tea! Peaceful Pregnancy tea has not gotten old, the taste is still refreshing and yummy every time I drink it.

Birds & Bees Family Immunity Tea-Ingredients: Elderberry, Astragalus Root, Rosehips, Goji Berry, Cinnamon Chips.

This tea is so yummy! I forgot to take a photo of it brewed and we drank it so fast I wasn’t able to take one when I remembered! Bunny loves this tea as well. I love the taste, but I also love the look of this tea. This is why I love loose leaf tea. It is not only delicious, but very pretty as well. I have enjoyed this tea hot as well as cold. Being pregnant, I get hot often. Family Immunity is delicious when hot and when cold. I have been told it is wonderful as a frozen popsicle in summer time. I will definitely have to try that this summer!

Birds & Bees Easy Naps & Calm Nights Tea– Ingredients: Oat Seed, Chamomile Flowers, Skullcap Leaf, Linden Leaf and Flower, Lavender Flower, Orange Peel.

I have had a hard time falling asleep these past few weeks. Bunny has a hard time falling asleep as well. We both have tried this tea before bed and we both had a much easier time falling asleep. I will definitely be drinking this tea before bed nightly. Pregnancy insomnia is no joke and Easy Naps & Calm Nights Tea really helps me settle down.

I have not tried Birds & Bees Ripe & Ready tea yet, nor have I tried Birds & Bees Our Lady of La Leche tea. Birds & Bees Ripe & Ready tea is to be used after 38 weeks and is also great postpartum. I will definitely let you all know how I like it when the time comes. 🙂 Birds & Bees Our Lady of La Leche tea is for after baby sister is born. I currently nurse Bunny now but would NOT like to see an increase in my supply. Once baby sister is here and I have two nursing, I will definitely be drinking this tea. I will be sure to update you when I do drink it.

Birds & Bees teas are very high quality and stand out above other loose leaf teas. I have tried many, many, many different brands and flavors of loose leaf teas. I do not often go back to buy more because the flavor is lacking. Most of the loose leaf teas I have purchased look pretty but are not very flavorful. I love both the look and the flavor of Birds & Bees teas. I will definitely be buying a tin and some bulk bags of this tea!

You can buy Birds & Bees teas online for $18 a tin, $20 for a small bulk/refill bag  or $30 for a large bulk/refill bag.
